Faculty Spotlight – David Wilson
Meet Dr. David Wilson! He is a professor with the UBC Department of Orthopaedics and an orthopaedic engineering researcher at the Robert H.N. Ho Research Centre. He’d like to see his research set the foundations for interventions that lead to joints that are pain-free and functional longer.
Staff Spotlight – Jacki Lung
Meet Jacki Lung! She is an HR Assistant with the UBC Department of Orthopaedics. Among other things, you’ll find Jacki supporting and coordinating clinical faculty appointments, reappointments, and promotions for new and existing clinical faculty members.
Faculty Spotlight – Lauren Roberts
Meet Dr. Lauren Roberts! She is an assistant professor with the UBC Department of Orthopaedics and an orthopaedic surgeon at Burnaby Hospital. Dr. Roberts’ love of science, varsity sports, and competitive synchronized swimming led her to a graduate degree in kinesiology, orthopaedic residency at UBC, and a foot-and-ankle fellowship at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City.
Faculty Spotlight – Ashlee Dobbe
Meet Dr. Ashlee Dobbe! She is a clinical assistant professor with the UBC Department of Orthopaedics and an orthopedic surgeon at Kelowna General Hospital in the BC Interior. Dr. Dobbe has travelled to Ecuador as part of Canadian Medical Teams Abroad and recently joined the Central Okanagan Search and Rescue Team (COSAR).
