Our WORTH initiative is dedicated to promoting awareness to young women of the diverse career opportunities available across the field of orthopaedics, ultimately shaping an equitable and diverse future for orthopaedic surgery.


Mission:

To empower young women and promote gender diversity in the field of orthopaedics by providing early exposure, valuable resources, and mentorship opportunities.

Vision:

Equitable and inclusive access to education about orthopaedics for young women worldwide 

Aim:

  • To create a comprehensive program for young women interested in orthopaedic surgery to explore and engage with the field at an early stage. 
  • To provide access to resources that promote ongoing skill development and knowledge acquisition.
  • To facilitate meaningful mentorship relationships that will nurture and guide aspiring healthcare professionals, fostering their personal and professional growth. 
  • To increase representation and empower young women to succeed in the field of orthopaedic surgery, fostering a more diverse and inclusive future for the profession.
