On February 27, 2023, the UBC Department of Orthopaedics officially launched a new strategic plan: Mobility for All, 2023-2028. With our vision of “pain free mobility for all” at the core, this plan outlines our new strategic framework supported by our ‘stronger together’ values and ‘local to global’ commitments in three distinct areas: Exemplary Educational Experience, Insightful Discovery, and Engaged Practitioners.
Developed in collaboration with a wide variety of stakeholders, the UBC Orthopaedics Strategic Plan 2023–2028 advances the Faculty of Medicine’s four pillars of education, research, partnership and organization through fostering supportive and safe learning environments, pursuing impactful research, and developing orthopaedic care partnerships both locally and globally.
