Dr. Roberts grew up in South Western Ontario, competing as a national level synchronized swimmer. Through involvement in sport, she developed an interest in human movement which led to an Undergraduate degree in Kinesiology. Following this, she completed a Masters in Human Kinetics prior to completing her Medical Degree at McMaster University. Upon completion of Medical School, she completed her residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of British Columbia prior to completion of a one year fellowship in Foot & Ankle Surgery at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York.

Dr. Roberts’ practice has been based out of Burnaby Hospital since 2018 where she has a comprehensive Foot & Ankle practice. Special interests include the role of biologics in soft tissue and articular regeneration in the foot and ankle, pushing the boundaries for arthroscopic treatment of complex ankle osteochondral defects as well as autograft hamstring reconstruction for complex tendon pathology of the foot and ankle.

As a Clinical Assistant Professor, Dr. Roberts enjoys teaching anatomy sessions and academic half days as well as coaching in exam prep with the residents in the UBC program. Since 2019, Dr. Roberts has been the Discipline Specific Site Lead for Orthopaedic UBC Medical Student Learning at Burnaby.

Dr. Roberts enjoys golfing, swimming and skiing when she can and keeps busy with her young family.
