The Divisions of Foot & Ankle and Upper Extremity are dedicated to promoting new techniques and exploring new frontiers in distal extremity treatment.
Growth in clinical outcomes, basic science, and the application of engineering principles have enormously added to the Division’s knowledge of upper extremities (shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand) and lower extremities (ankle, foot). The Division of Distal Extremities is strongly linked to outcome databases. Faculty members within the Division are improving patient outcomes by leveraging the latest technology and specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of orthopaedic and musculoskeletal problems.
