The UBC Department of Orthopaedics is pleased to confirm the appointment of Dr. Fay Leung as the new Residency Program Director, who will take over from the incumbent director Dr. Henry Broekhuyse.

Dr. Leung will continue working to create and sustain an equitable, diverse and inclusive workplace for all, and promote excellence in patient care.
Dr. Leung brings strengths in teaching, quality improvement, and leadership. She looks forward to embracing ongoing collaboration with education leaders and trainees in the Department, and building, managing, and maintaining high-quality and productive relationships across cultural differences.
“I am very excited serve as the Residency Program Director, and to build on Dr. Broekhuyse’s strong legacy of excellence in residency education. I look forward to working closely with faculty and residents, and to supporting our trainees in achieving their educational and career goals.”
