Goals and characteristics
This fellowship is a comprehensive pediatric spine fellowship. The service provides all aspects of spinal deformity care and instrumentation for children in the province of British Columbia. The service operates dedicated spine clinics and deformity operative slates. The fellow will be exposed to all aspects of deformity care, early onset scolioisis, pediatric cervical spine care, spinal oncology cases and trauma. The fellow will be exposed to advanced surgical management techniques. Participation in spinal research and ongoing research programs is an expectation of the fellowship.

Fellows have the option of completing a 2-year program combining clinical training and a Masters Degree program. A number of options exist for the masters discipline.

Applicants are required to have completed an approved residency program.
