Congratulations to Dr. Donald Garbuz on being elected to the presidential line of the Hip Society. His term as Third Vice President will officially begin in March 2021. He will then continue on in the presidential line and will be president of the hip society in 2024.
As Professor and head of the Division of Lower Limb Reconstruction and Oncology in the UBC Department of Orthopaedics, Dr. Garbuz is renowned for his expertise in problems that arise in the adult hip and for seeking improved outcomes of joint replacements especially as it pertains to revision hip replacement.
