Dave Wilson and Bas Masri awarded $300,000 grant to measure cartilage mechanics using UBC’s unique Open MRI
Dr. Dave Wilson and Dr. Bas Masri, along with co-applicants Piotr Kozlowski and Alex Rauscher, were awarded an Arthritis Society Strategic Operating Grant of more than $300,000 over 3 years for their research project, Imaging measures of cartilage mechanics.

A UBC interdisciplinary study that evaluated the safety of cefazolin as surgical prophylaxis in penicillin-allergic patients was selected for the 2021/2022 Excellence in Pharmacy Practice – Interprofessional Collaboration Award by the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists.
